Design changes and lasercuts!

We had decided to remove the hoods from the cylinder and make the cylinder the instrument itself. After talking to the rest of the group Noah had a great idea! We could take each separate toy circuit and put it in a separate instrument of its own that we could connect via a cable, then to an amp or speakers whatever. This would allow the score to be played by all at the same time instead of passing the ball around. This was a fabulous idea.

So now we have the parts all cut out. We ran into a bunch of problems, but they got fixed. From "T" tabs we now have arrows where the > tail ends are larger than the opening, so it can't get out after it goes in... without some force anyway. As you can see on Noah's blog he has been hard at work on the circuitry and is just all in all a ridiculously great group member! He may be questioning art... but his brain works differently. It will be okay, I have faith in him. He will grow through this class and I'm sure we all will in our own ways as well.

  1. Hey Tim, maybe you could upload the images illustrating the "T" versus "==>" mating system; I think it would be easier to understand. ;-)
